A man who is 1.8 m tall stands on horizontal ground 50 m from a vertical tree.The angle of elevation of the top of the tree from his eyes is 30.Calculate the height of the tree.

angle of elevation = 30°

let the height of the tree be x

h = x - 1.8

b = 50

tan 30° = P/B

1/√3 = x - 1.8/ 50

x = (500√3 + 54)÷3

x = 306.32 m
