we know that;

speed= distance/time

when speed is 120km per hour

120=x/t-2

120(t-2)=x

x=120t-240    -------- 1

when speed is 60km per hour

60=x/t+3

x=60(t+3)

x=60t + 180   --------- 2

by 1 & 2

120t-240=60t+180

120t-60t=240+180

60t=420

t=420/60

t=7

hence time is 7hour
