it cant be proved as it depends on the distance between him and the mirror , if is is so close to the mirror which half the size of him will only show half of his body to see the full image of his body from any distance should be the size of his bode , this was in case of a plane mirror. in spherical mirror like concave and convex mirror the image is different , in convex lens the image will me more bigger than the real man , and it will be smaller than the man
