the correct option is A.
since the box is gaining altitude thus it's potential energy increases.this potential energy is stored in the box due to the work done by the man and since the direction of upward force exerted by man is in the direction of displacement and as work is a dot product therfore cos 0 degree will be 1 that is work done is positive.
