A manager in an MNC isn’t punctual. He delegates his work to his subordinates normally. When he was going through the monthly attendance he found that 80% of the staff is coming late to office. Also the deadlines were not being followed by most of the employees as a result that specific regional office was lagging in performance. He called a meeting and discussed all these issue there. An employee pointed out that the manager is not punctual himself and he doesn’t have any right to expect the punctuality. Answer the question based on the information given. What are the shortcomings of the manager? What can he do to set an example for his subordinates?
