ANSWER:

1 - 3/8 - 3/5 = 1/40. If the total traveled were (subjunctive!) 80 km, then he traveled 30 km by train, 48 km by bus, and walked 2 km.

Answer:

rest of distance

= 1 - (3/8 + 3/5)

= 1 - 39/40

= 1/40

(1/40)x = 2

x = 80 km

so he went (3/5)(80) km by bus

= .....
