We are given,

2 cm ⇒1000 kms (scale)

So, For 2.5 cm ⇒ ? kms (say x)

By Ratio, we get required distance  

2/1000=2.5/x

x=2.5*1000/2 kms (* is multiply)

x=1250 kms
