A map is given with a scale of 2 cm = 1000 km. What is the actual distance between the two places in kms, if the distance in the map is 2.5 cm?​

Lets See.

Scale = 2cm = 1000 km

i.e. 1 cm = 500 km

So If two places are 2.5 cm apart in map.

The actual distance = 2.5 x 500

==> 1250 km

So the Answer is

1250 km.
