A map is given with a scale of 4cm = 1000km. What is the actual distance between two places if the distance in the map is 3.5cm ?

Answer:

Scale :- 4cm = 1000km

1cm = 1000/4 = 250km

3.5cm = 250/3.5 = 2500/35

= 71.42km. ans.

so, Actual distance = 71.42km
