a marble consists 54 Marbles each of which is blue green or white the possibility of selecting a blue Marbles at random from the jar is 1/3, and the possibility of selecting a green marble at random is 4/9 how many white Marbles does the Jar contain???

1/3 of 54 will be 18.it means there are 18 blue marbles. 4/9 of 54 will be 24 which means there are 24 green marbles. by adding the number of Green Marbles and blue Marbles we are getting 18 + 24 which is 42. now if we subtract 42 from the total number of Marbles which is 54 then we'll get 12 marbles show the answer is 12 white marbles
