The thickness of the marble is 5 cm.

Given data :

Marble dimensions = 30 cm × 20 cm

Marble weight = 12 kg = 12000 g

Density = 4 g / cm³

Now,

Let,the height of the marble = x cm

So, Volume = (30×20×x) = 600x cm³

Weight = (600x ×4) =2400x g

Now,

2400 x = 12000

x = 12000/2400

x = 5 (answer)
