At first we convert,
Length = 10cm = 10/100 m = 0.1 m
Breadth = 12cm = 12/100 m = 0.12 m
Now,
Area of tile = l x b
=> A = (0.1 x 0.12) m^2
=> A = 0.012 m^2
Again,
Area of Wall = l x b
=> A = (3 x 4) m^2
=> A = 12 m^2
No. of tiles = Area of wall/Area of tiles
=> No. of tiles = 12/0.012
=> No. of tiles = 1000
Now,
Cost of 1 tile = 2
=> Cost of 1000 tiles = Rs (2 x 1000) = Rs 2000
