A marble tile measures 10cm×12cm how many tiles will be required to cover a wall of 3m×4m and also find its total cost if 2 rupees per tile.​

Total Cost of tiles = Cost of one tile × No of tiles required

No of tiles required = Total area of wall/ Area of 1 tile

Area of one tile = 12 × 10 120 cm²

1m = 100cm, 3m =300cm and 4m = 400cm

Area of the wall = 400 × 300 =

120000cm²

No of tiles required = 120000/120 1000 tiles

Total cost of tiles = 1000 × 22.5 = Rs 22500
