Hey there! ☺☻☺

Dimensions of tile = 20 cm and 15 cm
Area of tile = 20*15 = 300 cm²

Dimensions of wall = 5 m and 3 m = 500 cm and 300 cm
Area of wall = 500 * 300 = 150000 cm²

Now, Tiles required to cover the wall = area of wall / area of 1 tile
                                                           = 150000/300
                                                           = 500

Hence, 500 tiles are required to cover the wall.

Hope It Helps You! ☺☻☺

gauri182: we can also find out by area of wall/area of tiles = no. of tiles ....its too simple and time saving

Dimensions of tile = 20 cm and 15 cm

=-------------------

Area of tile = 20*15 = 300 cm²

-------------------------------

Dimensions of wall = 5 m and 3 m = 500 cm and 300 cm

Area of wall = 500 * 300 = 150000 cm²

====================

= area of wall/area of 1 tile                                                           = 150000/300                                                           = 500
Hence, 500 tiles are required to cover the wall.
