S O L U T I O N :

Given :

  • Market price, (M.P) = Rs.11200
  • Discount, (D) = 10%

Explanation :

As we know that formula of the discount :

  • Discount = (Discount%/100) × M.P

According to the question :

➝ Discount = (discount%/100) × M.P

➝ Discount =( 10%/100) × 11200

➝ Discount = 10/100 × 11200

➝ Discount = Rs.(10 × 112)

Discount = Rs.1120

Now,

Putting the formula of the selling price:

➝ Selling price = Market Price - Discount

➝ Selling price = Rs.11200 - Rs.1120

Selling price = Rs.10080

Thus,

The selling price of the article will be Rs.10080 .

Answer:

Given :-

  • Marked price = ₹11200
  • discount is 10%

To Find :-

SP

SoluTion :-

 \tt \: discount \:  =  \frac{10}{100}  \times 11200

 \tt \: discount \:  =  \dfrac{1}{10}  \times 11200

 \tt \: discount \:  = 1 \times 1120 = 1120

Discount = 1120

SP = MP - Discount

 \tt \: SP = 11200 - 1120

 \tt \: SP \:  = 10080

Hence :-

SP of article is ₹ 10,080.
