Given :- A marketing research found out that there was an increase in purchases over the Christmas period in 2015 compared to 2014 . Data :- 20.2 4.1 6.9 8.0 4.7 3.9 7.8 8.3 9.2 5.3 .

To Find :- calculate the mean percentage increase in purchases ?

Answer :-

→ Total increase in purchase = 20.2 + 4.1 + 6.9 + 8.0 + 4.7 + 3.9 + 7.8 + 8.3 + 9.2 + 5.3 = 78.4 %

and,

→ Number of intervals % increase in purchase = 10 .

we know that,
