A mason uses the expression
 {x}^{2}  + 6x + 8
to represent the area of the floor of a room.If he decides that the length of the room will be represented by (x+4),what will the width of the room be in terms of 'x'​

factorise X^2+6x+8

(x +4)(x+2)

If length is(x+4) width will be

(x+2)

(x+2) is the answer

Area of rectangle= l * b

x²+6x+8=x+4*b

x²+6x+8=b

x+4

single x will cancel with x² and the remaining will be x,like this 4 cancel with 8

x+6x+2= b

7x+2=b

The breadth of room is 7x+2
