The average power input to the mass is :- P = (Ek + Ep) / t

increase in gravitational potential energy = Ep

Increase in kinetic energy = Ek

Time taken = t

.) Now,let total gravitational energy be 'E'.

We know that total gravitaional energy is the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy .

.) Now, mathemarically ,

E = Ep + Ek

Now , let 'P' be the power input of mass .

.) We know that power = Energy/ time

Now, according to the question

P = E / t

P = ( Ek + Ep ) / t
