as it is given that

T1 is  the tension of horizontal part of string.

we use from FBD,\mathrm{T}_{2} \sin 30=\mathrm{Mg} \Rightarrow \mathrm{T}_{2}=2 \mathrm{Mg}

and

\mathrm{T}_{1}=\mathrm{T}_{2} \cos 30=2 \mathrm{Mg} \times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=\sqrt{3} \mathrm{Mg}
