A mass of 10 kg is at a point A on a table. It is moved to a point B. If the line joining A and B is horizontal, what is the work done on the object by the gravitational force? Explain your answer

m = 10 kg
If the height/altitude of the object remains same, then the potential energy of the body remains same along its path.  So there is no change in PE.  So work done is 0.

Force is in the downward  direction.  Displacement is in the horizontal direction.  Hence there is no displacement in the direction of force.  So work done is zero.
Work done is non zero only the force and displacement are not perpendicular.
