GIVEN:-

> Mass = 2kg

> Time = 4 Secs

> Acceleration = 2.5ms^-2

TO FIND:-

> Gain in momentum

UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT:-

According to the question, We know the mass, time and acceleration. So, by using V = u + at we can find the gain in momentum.

LET'S DO IT!!

  • V = u + at
  • V= u + 2.5 × 4
  • 10ms-1

Gain in momentum = mv

  • 2 × 10
  • 20kgms-1

Therefore, gain in momentum = 20kgms-1
