Question:-

A mass of 2kg attached to a spring of force constant 26o Nm^-1 makes 100 0oscillations.What is the time taken?

Answer:-

Given,

  • Mass attached = 2kg
  • Force constant K = 260 Nm-1

To Find,

  • Time taken

Calculations,

Time period of a loaded spring,

t = 2\pi \sqrt{ \frac{m}{k} }

Now ,

substituting the given values,

m= 2kg

K = 260 Nm^-1

2\pi \sqrt{ \frac{2}{260} }

 = 0.5509s

Here we found time taken for one oscillation.

Now,

we have to find the time take for 100 oscillations

so,

Time taken for 100 oscillations = 0.5509×100

=55.09s

So,The time taken for 100 oscillations is 55.09s
