given :
mass of the 1st body(M1)=400g
mass of the 2nd body (M2)=100g
let the velocity be v1 and v2 respectively.
their kinetic energy is same.
1/2×m1×(v1)²=1/2×m2×(v2)²
1/2×400/1000×(v1)²=1/2×100/1000×(v2)²
4/10×(v1)²=1/10×(v2)²
4×(v1)²=(v2)²
2×v1=v2
v1/v2=1/2
the ratio of their momentum=mv1/mv2
400×1/100×2
2:1
