Answer:

F=ma

s=ut+1/2at^2

since it starts from rest

u=0

s=1/2at^2

a=2s/t^2

F=2N

m=5kg then

Acc to F=ma

2=5*2*s/100 (t=10Sec)

200=10s

s=200/10

S= 20m

Given :

▪ Mass of body = 5kg

▪ Force acts on the body = 2N

▪ Initial velocity of body = zero

▪ Time interval = 10s

To Find :

▪ Distance covered by body in the given interval of time.

Concept :

✏ First we have to find out acceleration of body. As per Newton's second law of motion, Relation between applied force, mass and acceleration is given by

\bigstar\underline{\boxed{\bf{\pink{F=ma}}}}

✏ We can easily apply equation of kinematics to calculate distance covered by the body. Second equation of kinematics is given by

\bigstar\underline{\boxed{\bf{\red{s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2}}}}

Calculation :

\dashrightarrow\sf\:s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\sf\:s=ut+\dfrac{F}{2m}t^2\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\sf\:s=(0\times 10)+\dfrac{2}{2\times 5}(10)^2\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\sf\:s=\dfrac{200}{10}\\ \\ \gray{\dashrightarrow}\underline{\boxed{\bf{\orange{s=20m}}}}\:\gray{\bigstar}
