Explanation:

as we know that energy is transferreble

So, potential energy is convert into kinetic energy

Potential energy of body is

U = mgh

=> U = 5×1×10 (take g = 10m/s^3)

=> U = 50J

this potential energy is converted into kinetic energy when body is dropped .

that means ,

Kinetic energy K = 50J

=> 1/2mv^2 = 50

=> v^2 = 20

=> v = √20

=> v = 2√5 m/s

Answer:

force = mg \\ f = 5 \times 9.8 \\ f = 49 \\ work = f \times d \\ w = 49 \times 1m \\ work = 49joules \\ as \: we \: know  \: work = energy \\ kinetic \: enrgy = 49joules \:  \\

K.E = (1/2)mv²

49= (1/2)×5v²

v²= 98/5

v²=19.6

v=√19.6

v=4.43m/s
