A mass of 5 kg moves with a velocity of 72 km/hr comes to stop after 5 seconds. find the force applied

initial velocity (u)= 72km/hr
final velocity(v) = 0 km/hr
time taken (t) = 5sec
acceleration ( a) = v-u/t
= 0 -72/5
= -14.4 m/s^2
force = mass × acceleration
= 5× 14.4
= 72 N

final velocity, v=0
time,t=5 sec
acc. = v-u/t = 0-20/5
= -20/5= -4m/sec^2
Force=mass ×acceleration
(5×-4) = -20N
