A mass of 5kg moving horizontally with a speed of 2m/s is acted by a force of 20N perpendicularly . What will be the velocity after 2 sec??​

v = u + at

Velocity along horizontal after 2 seconds is still 2 m/s

Magnitude of net velocity after 2 s is then

V = √(2² + 8²) m/s

= √(4 + 64) m/s

= √68 m/s
