a mass of a liquid at 30°C is mixed with a mass of the same liquid at 70°C and the temperature of the mixture is 45°C. find the ratio of the mass of the cold liquid to the mass of the other liquid

Let the mass of liquid be m and n;

Heat lost by hot body=heat gained by cold body

Let the specific heat capacity of them be 'c'

Now,
m*c*(70-45)=n*c*(45-30)
m/n=15/35
m/n=3/7
