a mass of lead is enabled in block of aluminium 2 mm thick. It is placed in the path of radioactive emission and on the opposite side of the cube is placed a fluroscent screen . It is shown that the shadow formed by aluminium is higher than that formed by lead . State the reason

the shadow of the al box is more fainter coz  al is more transparent towards radioactive radiations compared with pb 
thus some radiatians pass through al and produce a fainter shadow on the screen and very less radiations pass through pd and hence a distinct shadow is there
