Melting Point is the temperature at which solid and liquid states of matter co exist.

For example :Ice melts at 0°C to form liquid water so the melting point of ice is 0° .

At melting point , the temperature remains constant till complete ice turns into liquid.

Hence at 0°C both the state of matter co exist that is solid and liquid.
