Lord Cornwallis introduced the Zamindari System also known as the Peasant settlement under his endless agreement Act.
In the British homes in southern India, there was a move down from the idea of endless agreement. A system that came to be known as the Ryotwari System, was cooked by Captain Alexander Read and Sir Thomas Munro at the end of the 18th century and introduced by the ultimate when he was governor of Madras Presidency( 1819 – 26).
In 1822, Englishman Holt Mackenzie cooked a new system known as the Mahalwari System in the North Western businesses of the Bengal Presidency(the utmost of this area is now in Uttar Pradesh).
Quinquennial settlement ( 1772- 1777) five-time land agreement replacing the traditional zamindars with the loftiest bidding profit bookmakers which were concluded by Warren Hastings in 1772, the objects of the trial were to increase land profit and collect it presently.
