Solution :-

\bold {Given} \begin{cases}\bold {Length\: of\: the\: Matchbox} & = 4\: cm} \\\bold {Breadth} & = 2.5\: cm\\\bold {Height} & = 1.5\: cm\end{cases}

To Find:- The Volume of a Packet containing 12 Such Boxes.

-

Using the Formula, \boxed {\bold {Volume\: of\: a \: Cuboid = Length \times Breadth \times Height}} ,

Volume of one Match Box, V = 4 \times 2.5 \times 1.5\: cm^3

\implies 10 \times 1.5 = \bold {15\: cm^3}

-

Number of Boxes = 12

Hence. Volume of 12 Match Boxes ⇒ 15 \times 12\: cm^3 = \underline {\bold {180\: cm^3}}

Volume of a Packet containing 12 Match Boxes = \bold {180\: cm^3}
