Given : Initial level of water V1 = 22 mL

Final level of water V2 = 30 mL

(a) Volume of copper piece V=V2−V1

= 30 mL - 22 mL = 8 mL

Since 1 mL = 1cm3,V=8cm3

(b) Since 1cm3=10−6m3

Volume of copper piece = 8×10−6m3
