A measuring cylinder contains water up to the level 46 mL. The water level rises upto the 74 mL when a stone is immersed into it. If the mass of the stoneis 45 g ,find the density of stone.

Mass of stone = 45 g

Volume = (74 - 46) ml= 28 ml = 28 cm³

Hence,

Density = Mass/ Volume
