a mechanic unscrew a nut by applying a force of 30n with spanner of length 60cm.what should be the length of spanner if a force of 10 n is applied to the unscrew the same nut ?

We know that torque is equal in both the cases

now, E1 × l2 = E2 × l2

30 × 0.6 = 10 × l2

18 = 10 × l2

l2= 18/10

l2 = 1.8

= 180 cm
