let's use one of the standard half-life equations
N/No = e^(-0.693 T/K)
N = 16 - 12 = 4 g
No = 16 g
T = 6 hr
solve for K (half-life)
4/16 = e^(-0.693 * 6/K)
lake natural log of both sides (Ln)
-1.386 = -0.693 * 6 / K
K = 3 hr

Rumi123456789: No is the initial amount of radioactive isotopes
Rumi123456789: N= Amount of radioactive isotope after time t
Rumi123456789: dont tell thank you because answer is 12 hrs
Rumi123456789: my answer is 3 hrs
