A men can complete one round of a square field in 20 seconds. If he walks for 2 min 20 second, then much distance he must have completed, if the length of each side is 10 m.​

Two rounds means… perimeter of the square  ×2+perimeter2  

⟹80(perimeter)×2+802  

∴ distance=200 m  

And now displacement…

Simply if someone covers no. Of rounds in natural number in any closed fig. …his displacement is  0  

Now the person is standing at the initial point..

If he moves half round foroward… then he'll stand at the diagonally opposite side of the square.

So the displacement is equal to →  the length of the diagonal of the square path =2–√×20  

∴displacement=20√2–m
