Given:

Contract money = Rs.1189

Actual money paid = Rs.1073

To Find:

The number of working days.

Solution:

First, we have to find the HCF of 1189 and 1073.

we get the HCF of 1189, and 1073 is 29, which means the daily wages of the employee are 29.

Suppose, he worked for x days.

then, 1073=29x

x=\frac{1073}{29} =39days

Thus, the actual number of days that he worked is 39 days.
