Answer:

The marked price of the cycle is 2800 Rupees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the marked price be x

Given Discount = 25% = \frac{25}{100} \times x

The selling price is given by

selling price = marked price - discount

                      =  x-\frac{25}{100} \times x

                      = (\frac{100-25}{100})\times x

                      = \frac{75}{100} \times x

 selling price  = \frac{3}{4}\times x.

Gain= 360 Rupees(given)

Finding cost price :

By using the Formula Gain % = \frac{Gain}{Cost price}\times 100

                                    cost price(CP) = \frac{360}{20}\times 100= 1800 Rupees.

Gain = Selling Price(SP) - Cost price(CP)

360=\frac{3}{4}\times x -1800,

2160=\frac{3}{4}\times x,

\imples x=\frac{2160\times 4}{3}=2800 Rupees.

Hence, the marked price of the cycle is 2800 Rupees.
