A merchant has 175 liters of olive oil and 105 liters of coconut oil. He want to sell the two varieties of oil by filling the two oils in tins of equal capacity. What should be the maximum capacity of such a tin

Amount of two types of oil in the tin= HCF(175,105)
Here, 175>105. Using Euclid's division algorithm we get,
175=105×1+70
105=70×1+35
70=35×2+0
Since the remainder is 0 then HCF(175,105)=35
The maximum capacity of such tin =35+35=70 litres
