at first place he one third of worth of goods

x/3

second place one fourth of remaining amount

1/4 (x - x/3)

= 1/4 (2x/3)

= 2x/12

= x/6

third place one fifth of remaining amount

remaining amount =

x - ( x/3 + x/6)

= x - ( 3x/6)

= x - x/2

= x/2

amount paid = 1/5 ( x/2

= x/10

total amount paid = x/10 + x/6 + x/3

= 3x + 5x + 10x/30.

=18x/30 = 1020

x = 1020 × 30)/18

x= 1700 /- ( total worth of goods)
