suppose merchant having 100 unit

4/10=40 at profit of 5 per unit ie 60

3/10=30 at profit of 4 per unit ie 42

remaining 3/10=30 at a loss of 2 per unit ie 24

total. 100 stock of which he gain 60+42+24=126

126-100= 26 is his profit
