radius (r)=10m

rpm=1

perimeter of circle=2*(22/7)*10

=440/7 m

distance(d) =440/7 m

time taken(t) =1 min=60sec

speed(v) = d/t

=(440/7)*60

=1.04 m/s

Again; angular velocity (w)=v/r

w=1.04/10

=10.4 radians/sec

My answer might be wrong so please match with another.

Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Angle = 2π radian (in 1 min)

Radius = 10 m

Time taken = 1 min = 60 seconds

To Calculate :-

v = ?

Formula to be used :-

v = rω

Solution :-

But we do not know the value of ω. Therefore, first of all we will find out the value of ω by using the formula,

ω = ∅/t

⇒ ω = 2π/20

⇒ ω = π/30 radian/sec

Now, v = rω

⇒ v = 10 × π/30

⇒ v = π/3

v = 1.04 m/s

Hence, the speed of the children and their angular velocity  is  1.04 m/s.
