A metal ball of mass 100 gm moves with a uniform velocity 10 m/sec in a dusty medium such that the dust sticks to its surface at a constant rate equal to 0.6 gm per second. Find the mass of the ball and the force acting on it at any moment in dyne. ????

EliteLearner13: i think the answer is B honestly
pheloanap8wj6o: I need steps
EliteLearner13: maybe because 100 x 0.6 = 60
EliteLearner13: do you think so too?
EliteLearner13: what do you think
pheloanap8wj6o: The answer is C
EliteLearner13: oh ok sorry can i still put the answer?
pheloanap8wj6o: sure u can, but I if u know the steps of ans. C
EliteLearner13: i know (100 x 0.6) x 10 = 600
pheloanap8wj6o: I don't think so, Force not equal = mass X rate X velocity
