A metal ball of mass 60g falls on a concrete floor from a vertical height of 2.8m and rebounds to a height of 1.3m. Find the change in kinetic energy in SI units.

since we know the weight and height, we can find the change in kinetic energy

for this case kinetic energy= potential energy

----> mgh

KE= mgh

= 60x (2.8-1.3) x9.8

=588x1.5

=882

therefore, the answer is 882
