mass of each cub. cm of metal = 500 g/30 cub. cm
Total volume of new metal block = 5 cm x 4 cm x 3 cm = 60 cub. cm
mass of new metal block = (500g./30 cub.cm) x 60 cub. cm =1000 grams. or 1 kg
