this type of bond is known as electrovalent or ionic bond .

because in this type of Bond there is transfer of ions.



melting and boiling point of this compound is very high as compared to any kind of bonds.


no it will be not good conductor of electricity.
when this compound is come out in liquid state it will be good conductor of electricity


example : NaCl
