Answer:

Given:-

Toatal quantity of metal = 750g

percentage of tin = 56%

percentage of zinc = 20%

To find :-

Quantity of brass = ???

Solution :-

1) Quantity of tin in metal

= Percentage X Total quantity of metals

= 56% X 750g

= 56/100 X 750g

= 420g

2) Quantity of zinc in metal

= Percentage X Total quantity of metals

= 20% X 750g

= 20/100 X 750g

= 150g

Now, we have to find quantity of brass in metals.

So,

Quantity of brass in metals

= Quantity of total metal - ( Quantity of zinc + Quantity of tin)

= 750g - ( 420 + 150 )g

= 750g - 570

= 180g

Hence, Total quantity of brass in metal is 180g.
