vol=S x S x S =    12 x 12 x 12 = 1728cm^3

so volume of the cube should be equal to vol of cuboid

vol of cuboid = L x B x H

                     = 18 x 16 x H

                     =228 x H

                     = 1728 = 228 x H

                     H=6cm  ( by solving the above equation)

so the height = 6cm .
