A metal nitrate A on heating gives yellowish brown coloured metal oxide along with brown gas B and a colourless gas C.Aqueous solution of A on reaction with potassium iodide forms a yellowish precipitate of compound D.Idenitfy A B C D.Identify the types of both the reaction. The nitrate A is Lead Nitrate or Pb(NO3)2.
On heating it gives Lead oxide , Nitrogen dioxide as B and Oxygen gas as C.

D = PbI2 as lead iodide

First reaction is thermal decomposition reaction and second is double decomposition reaction.
